Consumer Reports Ranks New MacBook Air Models As Best In their Class
Both the new 11-inch MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Air, which Apple introduced in October, have received positive reviews. Both the laptops are being called the perfect balance of performance, portability and design for everyday use. Apple News: iTunes Subscription Service, 7-inch iPad Ready, and Orders for Qualcomm CDMA iPhone Chip
New York Post is reporting that Apple is working on iTunes subscription service. The new service will provide customers unlimited access to complete iTunes catalog for a monthly fee of $10 to $15. Claire Atkinson of NY Post wrote, “Apple iTunes boss Eddy Cue was on the phone with music honchos as recently as a few weeks ago trying to figure out how the partners can move forward. Smaller 7-inch iPad Model Coming in Q1 2011
The third Apple related rumor of the day comes courtesy of Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brain White, who is in Asia talking to various component suppliers for Apple products. He is reporting that next iteration of the iPad will debut in first quarter of 2011 and it will have a smaller 7-inch screen compared to 9.7-inch on current iPad model. CDMA iPhone 4 Production Starting in November and 7-inch iPad Design Finalized
DigiTimes is reporting that Pegatron Technology is expected to begin volume production of CDMA version of iPhone 4 in November with total shipments likely to reach 3-4 million units in the first three months and 10 million by mid of 2011. It has been rumored that Apple will use Pegatron as their manufacturing partner for CDMA version of the iPhone, as Foxconn is having a difficult time meeting demand for GSM version of iPhone 4, which has been very successful with record breaking sales.
