Till now we have seen many LCD displays on various websites that are claimed to be the Retina display for iPad 3. However, as the displays are not switched on we can’t see the resolution difference and hence can’t confirm that they are ultra high resolution Retina display. Intel to Push Back Mass Shipments of Ivy Bridge to June 2012
It was previous believed that Intel will start shipping the next generation Core i processors codenamed Ivy Bridge by end of Q1 2012 or in early April. However, Digitimes is reporting that Intel will start mass shipment later than originally thought. Intel has notified its partners that mass shipment of Ivy Bridge processors will start in June 2012. Apple Becomes World’s Top Smartphone Vendor
Gartner is reporting today that world smartphone sales soared to 149 million units in Q4 2011, a 47.3 percent jump. According to Gartner smartphone volumes during the quarter rose due to record sales of Apple iPhones. As a result, Apple became the third-largest mobile phone vendor in the world, overtaking LG.
