HP has announced that starting early next year it will offer Boston Power’s Sonata lithium-ion batteries that will last longer and be more environment friendly. The new batteries will be available as an option for around $20 or $30 more. HP and Boston Power have been testing, the new Sonata batteries that are designed specifically for laptops, for over three years.
