Microsoft has started next phase of their $300 million ad campaign by putting a kiosk near Apple Store in Birmingham, UK. The kiosk lets users record their own “I’m a PC” video for contribution to the ad campaign. Microsoft says that this phase of campaign will use videos uploaded by customers rather than paid professional spokespeople. Microsoft started the $300 million ad campaign to improve Vista’s image and to counter Apple’s “I’m a PC” and “I’m a Mac” ad campaign.
