CEATEC 2008 expo opened today in Japan and Sharp officially announced LC-65XS1U-S and LC-52XS1U-S, a 65-inch and a 52-inch AQUOS LCD HDTV respectively. Both the HDTVs are super thin at 22.8mm (0.89”), have contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and support full HD 1080p.
