Nokia today unveiled their first touchscreen handset at a press event in London. The handset that was codenamed “Tube” will officially be known as 5800 XpressMusic and it is based on Symbian S60 5th Edition. The S60 5th edition is the latest version of Nokia’s Symbian operating system that adds touch input to the OS. The 5800 will be available in three versions, quad-band GSM with 850/1900 WCDMA for North America, quad-band GSM with 900/2100 for Europe and other 3G regions and quad-band GSM without 3G for India and China.
