AMD Demos Cinema 2.0 Graphics Technology


AMD showcased practical applications of Cinema 2.0 technology at an event in New York. The new graphics technology promises to bring photorealistic graphics to movies and interactive media. AMD demoed a photorealistic human model, graphically created by rapid high-definition photography from all angles in a globe shaped room. These cameras capture very detailed images. They operate so quickly that to the naked eye, they appear as solid lights, when in fact they are flashing on and off at fractions of a second to capture images.
