Analyst Michael Cote claims that Apple has already shipped over three million iPhone 3G units since launch. If the number is accurate, Apple sold 3 million handsets in less than a month, far exceeding Wall Street predication of 3 million in one quarter. This would also me that it took iPhone 3G one month to sell almost half the number of units original iPhone sold in one year.
