Pixel Qi added two new sunlight readable low-power displays to its lineup at Computex 2011. Both the new 7-inch display (1024 x 600 resolution) and the new 10.1-inch display (1280 x 800 resolution) are built on Pixel Qi’s technology that combines benefits of e-ink and LCD display technologies. This results in a display that is readable in sunlight with up to 80% power saving over conventional LCD screens while offering LCD like refresh rates and color reproduction.
