Apple released Mac OS X Lion, the eight major release of their desktop operating system with more than 250 new features on July 20th. Some of the main features in Lion are new Multitouch gestures, full screen apps, Mission Control, Launchpad, Resume, Auto Save, Versions and AirDrop. Mac OS X Lion 10.7 is available as a download from the Mac App Store for $29.99 and will be made available on a USB thumb drive through the Apple Stores and other retailers later this August priced $69.
