HTC today introduced their new smartphone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile 6.1 standard. The front of the phone is shared by the LCD screen and numeric keypad. The phone doesn’t have touchscreen, but uses the menu keys on the numeric keypad for managing the user interface. 3G Antenna Test Reveals iPhone 3G Reception Completely Norma

The Gothenburg Post took the new iPhone 3G and tested its 3G antennas. The post used a Bluetest’s test chamber for wireless devices with small antennas to test the iPhone reception. The equipment measures how the mobile sends and receives signals under different conditions. These chambers are used by many companies to test their mobile devices.
Magnus Franzen, an antenna engineer with the company did the tests on the iPhone. First he tested the TRP value—in which mobile is ordered to radiate at full power at three different frequencies. Lenovo today joined HP in the mobile quad-core race with its new 17-inch ThinkPad W700. Hitachi today unveiled DZ-BD10HA three-format hybrid camcorder with Blu-ray support. Apple’s App Store Sold Over 60 Million Apps in First Month

In an interview with Wall Street Journal, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs revealed that more than 60 million applications have been download from the App Store since it was launched on 11th July. Goldman Sachs Releases Detailed Breakdown of First One Million iPhone 3Gs Sold

Apple released the iPhone 3G on July 11th and sold the first 1 million in less than three days. Goldman Sachs Research has published detailed statistics on sale of the first one million iPhone. Pioneer Develops 500GB Blue Laser Disc

Pioneer revealed that it has developed optical disc with 500GB storage capacity. Pioneer developed the blue laser disc by improving the optical technology used in the 400GB disc it announced last month.
