Next Gen Intel Ivy Bridge Quad Core Mobile Processor Shows 10-30% Performance Improvement

Last week, we reported that upcoming thinner and lighter MacBook Pros featuring new Ivy Bridge processors will be the most powerful Mac laptops ever with at least 30% performance jump. Adding more weight to our report, a Bulgarian website Laptop.bg has posted benchmarks of entry level quad core mobile processor Intel Core i7-3610QM, which will be part of Ivy Bridge lineup. Intel and Nissan Partner-Up for Atom based Car Infotainment System

Intel Corporation announced today that the next-generation in-vehicle infotainment system (IVI) for select NISSAN Motor Company production vehicles will be powered by the Intel Atom processor beginning in 2013. The IVI system features a twin-display that was unveiled in the Infiniti LE, a luxury zero-emissions concept vehicle, at the New York International Auto Show today. Taposé – Microsoft Courier Concept Inspired App Now Available of iPad

Microsoft Courier was codename for a booklet type tablet concept that was cancelled in 2010. The concept had booklet form factor with dual touchscreen that could be used for taking note, posting pics and pinning up digital cut outs just like you would do in your journal. iDownloadBlog has posted that iOS 5.1 includes code for 4G LTE support on next generation iPhone.
